Join us for hands-on demonstrations, activities, and informational sessions about installing and managing native habitat for monarchs and other wildlife on farms. Topics covered include: site selection and site prep methods for native plantings, seed mix design, planting methods, and habitat management, native plant ID, evaluating and monitoring plant establishment, monarch biology and conservation, Farm bill programs and funding opportunities for farmers, and Beyond monarchs: additional benefits of habitat to wildlife and humans. These field days are offered in partnership with Monarch Joint Venture (MJV).
