Planned Giving

A charitable bequest is one of the simplest ways to provide continuing support to the Xerces Society beyond your lifetime. Your planned gift will have a lasting impact on the conservation of essential invertebrates and help preserve these creatures for future generations.

What could be more important than working to conserve the creatures that keep Earth's living systems functioning?

The Xerces Society is truly doing some of the most vital work on the planet today. That’s why Susan and I have found it so fulfilling to include Xerces in our estate plans. As a board member, I get to see up close how exceptionally well-managed this organization is and how skilled and dedicated its staff are. This gives us confidence that our contributions will be in good hands. If you care about biodiversity and wish to leave a meaningful legacy for future generations, please join us in supporting Xerces.

Make a Charitable Bequest

Leave a portion of your estate, such as cash or stock, to the Xerces Society in your will.

Beneficiary Designation

Make Xerces a beneficiary of your IRA or life insurance policy. Simply request a beneficiary designation form from your plan administrator.

IRA QCD

If you are 70½ or older, ask your professional advisor if giving directly from your IRA is a tax-wise way for you to give.

Gifts of Stock

Donating stock is a simple, smart way to give.

Xerces does not give tax or legal advice. We highly recommend that you discuss your planned giving options with your professional advisor in order to choose a gift that works best for you and your family. Once you have decided upon a legacy gift, please supply your advisor with the following information:
