Pacific Northwest Bumble Bee Atlas Training – Wenatchee, WA

June 2nd, 2018
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Wenatchee Public Library
Wenatchee, WA

Please join us in a collaborative effort to track and conserve the bumble bees of the Pacific Northwest through this hands-on training event. The Idaho Department of Fish and Game, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, Oregon State University, and the Xerces Society have collaborated to launch a citizen science project to collect data to better understand the status of our native bumble bees. Learn about bumble bees, their conservation status, and how to participate in the Pacific Northwest Bumble Bee Atlas during this full-day training. With your help, we can create an army of trained volunteers equipped with cameras and vials, and collect bumble bee data throughout the Pacific Northwest.
