Join the Xerces Society's western monarch team for the highly anticipated announcement of Fall 2024 monarch count tallies! Every year since 1997, community scientists and conservation professionals have joined forces via the Western Monarch Count (WMC) to survey overwintering western monarchs and their habitats. Surveys are conducted at the same time each year while monarchs are clustered, allowing scientists to compare population estimates across time and geography. Hear all about this season's findings, volunteer highlights, updates related to the recent ESA proposed listing, and more! We hope to see you there.

This webinar will be recorded and available on our YouTube channel. Closed Captioning will be available during this webinar.

Unfortunately, there isn't "one weird trick" to communicating bug science. We know that emotions are important in persuading people and encouraging evidence-based decision making. But how do you make a real connection in a time of misinformation and political division? Join Gwen Pearson, science communicator and entomologist, to explore this topic in our upcoming webinar.

This webinar will be recorded and available on our YouTube channel. Closed Captioning will be available during this webinar.
