Krystal Eldridge

Krystal Eldridge managed the development of the Xerces Society’s publications, including the editing and design of the organization’s reports, guidelines, and fact sheets. Krystal has spent more than a decade in communications, and is passionate about using this work to make conservation accessible to everyone. She graduated from the University of Oregon’s journalism school and has run magazines in the Middle East, edited books in partnership with a variety of U.S. institutions, and authored a children’s book. Krystal’s commitment to invertebrates is rooted in work with a community group that creates pollinator habitat in urban rights-of-way. When she’s not in the garden, she enjoys hiking the trails around Portland, volunteering, and fostering dogs from around the world.
